Honor the Past, Build the Future

Greetings Friends,

This is an exciting time for First Church. God continues to bless our community and is providing great opportunities for the ministry of our church. Opportunities, however, always bring challenges. As in the past, we are moving forward in faith and confidence that God will continue to enable us to meet the needs of our current membership as well as those who are joining us on a weekly basis.

Because of the opportunities in our area and the need to respond to them, we are embarking on a capital stewardship campaign:

Honor the Past, Build the Future

Through this stewardship campaign, we will be able to put into place facilities and ministries needed to minister to our community.

The anticipated cost for the total project is estimated to be $396,300. We have put forward this three-tiered set of goals to finance the remodel project:

Let’s Get It Started - $190,000 With this amount, we will be able to complete the Restrooms, Choir Closet and Kitchen remodel.

Let’s Get It Going - $290,000 With this amount, we will be able to complete the Restrooms, Choir Closet, Kitchen, and the interior of the Fellowship Hall remodel.

Let’s Get It Done - $390,000 With this amount, we will be able to complete the Restrooms, Choir Closet, Kitchen, the interior of the Fellowship Hall, the exterior of the Fellowship Hall, and the Hardscape/Landscape/Exterior Lighting; the entire project.

It is my prayer that you will support First Church’s program Honor the Past, Build the Future. In the coming days you will receive additional information about this remodel project.
